"Resilient School" Reward Project

Introduction of Project

Introduction of “Resilient School” Reward Project

In 2022-2023 academic year, many families in Hong Kong have faced the post-pandemic crisis, which included switching from half-day to full-day study mode. In view of these changes, it has brought a certain level of impact and pressure on the daily routine of the families, the mental health of students and their parents, as well as the parent-child relationship.

In order to help families to cope with various changes in their life, a series of free "Online Learning Certificate Courses", "Online Family Activities/Competitions" and "Online Parent Talks/Workshops" have been introduced. In addition, the project team has invited all schools in Hong Kong to jointly promote the concept of "Family Resilience", so that schools can create the atmosphere of "Family Resilience" within their campuses. Incentives are also offered to parents who have successfully completed online learning courses on “Family Resilience”, which is an encouragement to parents and recognition to schools’ efforts in promoting "family resilience".
