E-learning - Outcome Evaluation

E-learning Certificate Course

As of 17 April 2023, the total number of enrolments for the online e-learning course exceeded 5,000 units. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the course, which allowed them to arrange the pace of learning themselves and the contents offered were very practical, improving their family communication and mental wellbeing. The pre-test and post-test evaluations showed that after completing the E-learning course, participants had significant decrease in their level of anxiety and depression, and significant increase in their level of family resilience. In addition, the quasi-experimental analysis indicated that the experimental group who completed the entire course had significantly better outcomes than the control group. The experimental group had significantly lower levels of anxiety and depression, and significantly higher levels of family resilience. In all, the results suggested that the e-learning course was effective in improving the mental health of our participants and providing them with protective factors against family adversities.
